Salman Khan

Salman Khan has planned a low-key birthday party in Goa today with friends and girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Incidentally, the two others in Bollywood’s Khan triumvirate — Shah Rukh and Aamir — also turned 43 in 2008, all three being 1965 born. HT City asked an astrologer, a numerologist and a karmic reader about how 2009 will be for them. The conclusion is that the coming year will see Salman in choppy waters, while Shah Rukh and Aamir will enjoy huge success.
“2009 will not be good for Salman, personally or professionally,” says Abha Bansal, astrologer and director of Future Point. “His health will suffer and his expenses will exceed his income.” Money should be no problem for Shah Rukh Khan, who is set to make more of it than anyone else in the coming year, says Lok Deepak Bakshi, advanced numerologist. However, the crown of world fame seems destined for Aamir Khan who will “do wonders in the international arena”, says Bakshi, a view corroborated by Bansal. Do we smell an Oscar?
On the personal front, Shah Rukh’s life will be “rocking”, says Bansal, while Aamir might face “conflicts and confusion”, suggests Nishi Singh, karmic reader. Singh sees Salman finding peace within himself, but not a wife. “There is a likelihood of marriage in 2010, not in 2009,” says Bakshi. Bansal, too, adds, “I don’t see him getting married in 2009.”All in all, it is Aamir who looks likely to have the “diamond year”. Box-office receipts of Ghajini, which reportedly got a bumper opening worldwide, should alone bring a huge smile to his face. As for Shah Rukh, the entrepreneur, there might be a progression from profitable ventures to charity, believes Singh. And what of Salman? “He will have mood swings and will be high on alcohol,” says Bakshi. Oops! Singh is more positive: “There will be more commitment to work and relationships.”
