But I never felt sidelined even when I was just a model – and a debutante at that. For me, all that mattered was looking good and doing my best. And even today, I don’t consider myself a showstopper at all.” Not everyone disagreed – in the post show press con, when she was asked to comment on the dress that Deepika wore, Rina shot back, “You’re talking about the dress because Deepika wore it. It’s true that she put magic in it, but it was a nice dress anyway too.” And when another Deepika question popped up, Rina said, “Look, stars are stars because they’re exceptionally beautiful people. And when they walk the ramp for any fashion designer, everybody talks about them... unfortunately!”
