Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra spend a crore-plus on Rajasthan Royals music video

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, co-owners of Rajasthan Royals released their song Halla Bol at their bash held at a five-star suburban hotel on Tuesday. The song features in an extravagantly lavish video shot in Jaipur where a private jet was specially hired for the shoot. It is learnt that the shoot of the music video cost over Rs 1 crore.Says a source close to the actress, "Shilpa and Raj have spared no expense to make the music video a grand extravaganza. They are doing the creatives for the team on a stylish scale. The Rajasthan Royals video comes out on March 22. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, with music and lyrics by Anand Raj Anand, directed by Ken Ghosh and choreographed by Ahmed Khan, it has been shot with 100 junior artistes, 10 elephants, horses and chariots inside the Jaipur airport where the jet was hired at a whopping amount. The shooting took three days to complete."The actress has also had specially designed high-end RR jerseys designed by an international sports brand to be sold before every team match.Tee spreeThe Rajasthan Royals are partnered by the same sports brand that has done the styling of the RR team including Shilpa's RR tee, which is Swarovski crystal-studded. "Shilpa has worn the T-shirt along with the Rajasthani ghaghra cholis and jodhpuris styled by her designer Rocky S in the video. The creatives of RR are being handled by Raj and Shilpa. Halla Bol is also the team slogan. The video has a royal look synonymous with Rajasthani culture. Initially, Ken Ghosh was reluctant to direct the video as he has stopped designing one-off stuff. It took a lot for Shilpa to convince him."Blinging it upShilpa says, "We played the song Halla Bol at my party where over 350 guests from the corporate world and film industry came. They all loved it. I feature in the video and I intend to bling it up at every match too!"Blowing her own trumpetShilpa will attend RR matches whenever possible and blow the team's merchandise the bugle. Says Shilpa's friend, "She's shooting for Sunny Deol's The Man and might have to miss four matches but they are working out the dates. The first IPL match is between the RR and the Delhi Daredevils in Mumbai and Shilpa is very excited. Though she knows that RR may lose some (and win some), she's a terrible loser and fears her angry expressions after the losses might prove to be daunting."
