Deepika Padukone clearly loves her tattoos. First it was the RK tattoo at the base of her neck and then another one depicting an anklet. No wonder, she was chosen as an ambassador by the organizers of the first Tattoo Convention.The remixed version of the iconic song 'Mit Jayee gham’ sees Deepika sporting a scorpion tattoo and swinging to the tune with an attitude. After watching the song, IndiaInk Invention got in touch with her and requested her to visit their first ever convention which took place on Sunday, 10th April 2011.However, the actress was shooting in London for ‘Desi Boyz’ and was unable to attend the convention.She forwarded the invitation to the ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ team. Abhishek Bachchan, Prateik and Rohan Sippy attended the convention instead.Manoj Thakur, Partner at Par Excellance Entertainment says, "Deepika Padukone’s absence was felt, especially at an event that she would have readily identified with. Asked about her fetish for watches, she said, “I love watches. Infact, I gifted a watch to Ranbir on his birthday too.”
And yes, when asked about her future plans regarding career and marriage, she repeated Ranbir Kapoor’s words saying, “We are too young to get married. For now, both of us want to focus on our careers, marriage would come later.”

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone has been always in the spotlight either for her acting abilities or for her romantic link-ups. We quizzed the svelte heroine how she copes up with constant speculations and gossip about her personal as well as professional life, especially since she comes from a non-filmy background.

"Initially, when I was new it was very difficult for me to handle this. My father was a champion player and he too got a lot of attention but media was not as huge as it is now. It wasn't following every move of his as it does now. My family and I have learnt over the last couple of years how to handle all this speculation and attention. We have understood that it is a part of our daily life," she says.
We also took the opportunity to ask her if she has spoken to her debut movie co-star Shah Rukh Khan post his shoulder surgery.
"I spoke to him and met him recently at an event over the weekend. I did get a message from Gauri saying he was in a lot of pain and wasn't in the state to meet anyone. He doesn't like a pat on the back. He's a fighter and a go-getter and an operation is just another day in his life," she says with a million dollar smile.
Deepika has teamed up with Saif Ali Khan for Love Aaj Kal and she is really kicked up to be working with Imtiaz Ali.
"It's great to have Imtiaz as my director. I loved Jab We Met and was looking forward to working with him. I thought the film was 'seamless' and the romance was very sweet," she says

The couple decided to go for a movie and silently peeped into a Mumbai theatre for an English movie titled “Marvel and Me”.
As the couple was given the penultimate seats of the whole full row, they cuddled a bit initially. But Ranbir was constantly disturbed by phone calls which made his beau a bit irritated.
Ranbir understood the situation and switched off his phone, he started cuddling Deepika who jumped into his lap. But the moment was wrong as the movie was about to complete by then and the lights of the theater were switched on. The co-audiences saw the view of Deepika and Ranbir and started to yell at them. Soon, the couple was escorted to the parking lot by the management of the theatre.
