Billu-standard

Yesterday, an afternoon show of Billu at New Empire theatre was cancelled just 10 minutes after the film started
Yesterday, 12.30 pm show of Billu at New Empire theatre was called off suddenly. The viewers who were already seated in the theatre were shocked when suddenly an announcement was made 10 minutes after the film started that the show has to be cancelled.
One of the viewers who had gone to watch the film said, “There were about 30 people seated in the balcony and 50 in the stall. We wondered if the show was cancelled because there weren’t too many viewers. However, we later got to know that there was some technical problem due to which the show had to be called off. The manager of the theatre apologised for the unexpected turn of events. They also refunded the ticket money.”
Umrekar, the manager, of New Empire theatre confirmed the incident and said, “We had to cancel the show because there was a problem with the film’s sound due to which the dialogues could not be heard clearly. We had to call an engineer to fix the problem. Since he took some time to arrive and we did not want the audience to wait lest they get impatient and create a ruckus, we refunded the ticket money.”
