John Abraham is flying high and how. If all goes well, John will act in Hollywood director Rob Cohen’s (of The Mummy and Fast and Furious fame) Jewel of India opposite Katrina Kaif. The film will be produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. It will also star Amitabh Bachchan.A source close to the production house said, “The film required a lead actor from India and the role has gone to John Abraham. Though John has agreed in principle, to be part of the cast, the other details are still being worked out. The film is made on a whopping budget of Rs 275 crore and will also have stars from Hollywood. Cohen is currently in talks with Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Monica Bellucci and Eva Mendes.”Our source added, “John met Rob on Wednesday night at a suburban five star hotel along with Katrina. They had a quiet dinner. Later even Hrithik Roshan joined them.”

She said, “Katrina is very excited at the prospect of working with Rob and Firozbhai (Nadiadwala).
